Nashville Bachelorette Guide

April 19, 2022

This past March I had the opportunity to co plan my dear friends Bachelorette party as the Maid of Honor with the Matron of Honor. It was a blast getting inspiration from Pinterest, TikTok and IG. Its no secret that Nashville is the new hot spot for Bachelorette parties and I can now understand why! If you have been to Austin Texas and out on 6th street, the vibes in Nashville are very similar, just much more country and only live music. If you are a bride, or planning a Nashville bachelorette I wanted to do a complete recap to hopefully provide some insights and save you some time looking for the best places and activities!

Below is the Itinerary I created in Canva. Very helpful to be able to provide ahead of time to all the attendees! I also made a few slides in Canva prior outlining what outfits were needed + inspo, a rough itinerary and a cost breakdown. I think its super important to give people enough time to pay for things as well as get their outfits prepared.

DECOR

This was probably the most fun part to plan! We started off creating a mood board (extra I know) and pulling some pictures from Pinterest that we loved. The bride wanted a Nashville vibe with lots of sparkles. The majority of all of our decor items was etsy with a few things from Amazon! All items are linked below, minus the cowboy hats. I found these luckily at Nasty Gal but they are unfortunately not available anymore. This airbnb was a PERFECT setting for our decor! And we lucked out that we had a great accent wall for the balloon arch. The plan originally was to add black metallic fringe as the backdrop, but we utilized this on the door entrance since this wallpaper was too cute. Listed above in the itinerary is the airbnb address if you are interested!

DAY 1

We flew in to Nashville early in the morning and were able to settle into the airbnb around 11. We kept the bride distracted out with some friends while we decorated. After we completed that everyone hungout and caught up since we all hadn’t been together in awhile! We then started getting ready for dinner and a night out. This nights outfit was all pink! I will say you need reservations for sure when trying to dine out. It is hard to get these because many places do not let you book far in advance and the week we went was also Spring Break making it a little tricky. I found the restaurant Flatiron which was a little more casual than I preferred. There was a newer restaurant (the name is escaping me) that is in a hotel on Broadway. They unfortunately were remodeling the kitchen and weren’t accepting reservations. Overall we liked the restaurant though! They had good food and drinks. It did end up being on the opposite side of Broadway so we did need to take a quick Uber. Luckily one of the girls with us lived in Nashville a few years back and new the local trick at the famous Tootsies to go to the back alley, no line! We spent most of the night at Tootsies and it was a blast! Highly recommend.

DAY 2

We woke up on Friday and headed to Liberty Common for breakfast! I found this place on Instagram and knew we had to go here. The aesthetic was too cute and the food & drinks were delicious! Ran into reservation issues here too with only earlier times and not being able to seat all 10 of us together so we got two 5 person reservations. After breakfast we headed to 12 South which has so many cute shops to checkout! Stoney Clover & Draper James are on this street and are so precious. Draper James has a cute blue and white striped wall to take photos on and is in the same Alley as the iconic I believe in Nashville mural! Listed in the itinerary above is the addresses to the murals. From here everyone was able to do their own thing, some went back to the airbnb, some went to Broadway and me and my friend went to another part of a shopping area which is where the red lip wall is (We all knew I couldn’t go to Nashville without visiting it)! After we all met back at the airbnb we got ready for another night out on Broadway! This night was our black outfits with matching cow print hats. The favorite spot of this night was Honky Tonk, a three story bar with such good music!

DAY 3

We wrapped up our Bach weekend on Saturday with the main event being the Honky Tonk Express Bus! Before we headed there at noon, we made breakfast at the airbnb and then headed to the bus! This for me personally this was one of my favorite things we did. You get to play your own music and it is BYOB. The bus does come with a bartender who makes you drinks with the alcohol you bring and manages the music. You get to ride around for an hour and a half. You pass through Broadway twice which is super fun and they make two stops, one for the restroom and one for a group photo with Nashville skyline in the background. Do keep in mind you will need to tip the driver and bartender! We gave the driver cash and the bartender used venmo. After that we headed to Broadway to continue the party! One thing that is hard is food on Broadway. We found one bar that had food but the kitchen was so backed up they were not taking orders. So I do wish we had been able to eat earlier. We headed back to the Honky Tonk bar and had a blast! When we headed home probably around 6 or 7, we had a chill night playing some games with the bride and hanging out since we all had super early flights the next day.

OUTFITS

I would highly suggest a Bach trip to Nashville overall! Super fun vibes and so many things you can do! I already want to plan a trip back to go to the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
