September Favorites

October 1, 2019

How has September already flown by?! Like Greenday says, wake me up when September ends. Sadly this means my birthday month has wizzed by but that also means FALL. Hello to all the pumpkins and hopefully cooler weather (if Texas cooperates)!

Frixon Colors Erasable Pens: These are a GAME CHANGER! I have always just used pencils to plan my content calendar or personal schedule since it is ever changing. But I missed using colored pens to coordinate events with a color. That has all been solved now with these pens! I was super skeptical at first if it would actually erase but they really do work. Planning out my life is much more fun and colorful now!

Kodiak Cakes Power Waffles: These are my guilt free breakfast for dinner option. Anyone that knows me knows how much I love breakfast food. At least once a week I will eat these with a side of raspberries for dinner. There are only 260 calories for 2 waffles, and 6g of protein! Delicious and nutritious.

Bracha Initial Necklace: #influenced by my friend Megan who takes my pictures with this one. It is such a perfect necklace to throw on with any outfit and still makes a statement in a way! I have had this on repeat all month and have received so many compliments! Also a great piece to layer with other necklaces.

Clinique Eye Cream: So I won’t lie I don’t see anything life changing or magnificent when I use this product but I have been enjoying it as it keeps my under eye hydrated! Not only that but you need the tiniest but of product so it lasts for forever!

Tula Eye Balm: I had to try something from Tula to see what all the hype was about. Not going to lie I really don’t love using things that alll the influencers on Instagram are talking about because I sometimes wonder if it is actually good. I will say I really love applying this in the morning before makeup. It makes my under eye brighter and leaves a tingling cooling sensation on my under eye that I really like!

Tula Sensitive Skin Cleanser and Moisturizer: Same situation as I mentioned above on the other Tula product. I never tried out anything from their skincare since almost all products contained fragrance. I was really excited to be able to try some of their products out when they released the sensitive skin line! It is very calming and light on my skin and I really do think it has helped clear up some clogged pores that I have had!

Beauty Bio The Quench Moisturizer: Okayyyy do not kill me for the price of this because it is insane. I got a trial size when I picked up the GloPro during the Nordstrom sale and really saw the results. I will say a little goes a long way and I will use it in conjunction with the Tula sensitive skin moisturizer so I don’t use it every day. Thats what I call rationing expensive product LOL. It is so moisturizing and really hydrates my skin leaving it nice and glowy. I really love using it with the GloPro which helps it sink into the skin. Also pro tip- I picked this up during the Sephora VIB and Rouge sale so it was 20% off!

Kendra Scott Fine Jewelry Ring: Used my birthday discount at Kendra to pick this up! If you didn’t know, you receive 50% off one item during your birthday month and 25% off any fine jewelry piece. My parents got me the matching ring last year for my 25th birthday and this year I wanted the ring that fit inside of the silhouette. You can absolutely wear both by themselves, which I obviously did for a whole year, but I love the stacking element with both of them! Definitely a piece I will have forever.

Hask Biotin Dry Shampoo: I have always had very fine thin hair and have been freaking out that it has been thinning out even more recently (yes very dramatic). I love this dry shampoo since it features Biotin as a main ingredient and helps provide thickness to my hair. It also smells AMAZING.

What have been your go to products this month?!
