The Red to Toe Story

June 27, 2018

I am so excited to finally launch From Red to Toe blog!! It has been a long time coming with countless fears to jump back into blogging. If you are new to my journey, I had a blog with my college best friend Liberty that carried us on a 2 year long adventure. But with graduation, becoming adults and living across the country from each other, our blog came to an end. I toyed with the idea of starting my own blog many times but never committed to the idea. That was until I started thinking of some goals for 2018. I was always nervous how I would balance the commitment with work and my personal life, but knew I always wanted to take a chance. I missed my creative outlet for fashion, beauty, and sharing my passions with the world, and that’s how From Red to Toe came to be!

You might be asking- “Red to Toe? Whats the meaning behind the name?”. I have had a deep connection to the color red starting at a young age of 4 (I had such a natural smile didn’t I?). It all started when my Great Grandmother Granny and I wore matching red coats to Christmas Eve Mass. Even at that young age I remember her speaking fondly of her love for red. I like to think this is when the love affair with red began for me. It flourished through my years of life connecting to this color in so many ways. I am in a very serious committed relationship with red lipstick (cant wait to share my favorites!), and no, not all red lipsticks are created equal. I feel that all women have that one color that makes them feel confident and ready to take on the world, and If you don’t I hope I can help you find that feeling! I cannot wait to share my life through clothes, and of course the color red with you all!

Shoutout!! 😘 Some of my favorite college memories were connected to blogging – mostly because it gave us a reason to spend more time together. So happy that you are continuing your journey, and I cannot WAIT to cheer you on from the sidelines. Love you much much much!!
