July Favorites

August 2, 2019

It feels un real that August is already upon us! Not going to lie I don’t mind it because that just means Fall vibes! I will say although that this Texas summer has actually been pretty bearable and not as bad as we usually see so that’s a plus! I am recapping for the second month in a row my favorite items that I have been loving. What products have you loved lately? I would love to try them out!

Soapbox Charcoal Shampoo & Conditioner: It has been a struggle for me to find a shampoo and conditioner that is fragrance free but still conditions my hair and doesn’t leave it feeling dry and tangled. Soapbox has answered all my concerns! The scent is great with Fragrance being the last ingredient. If you didn’t know, I try to keep fragrance out of all my products or at least at the bottom of the ingredient list since this means percentage is minimum in the product. I have tried sooo many shampoos and conditioners in the past year and have not been able to find one that I loved, until Soapbox. It conditions my hair and makes it so easy to brush through when I get out of the shower. Highly recommend! They also come in several different scents that target different benefits for your hair.

Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Kind Bars: These are my new go to’s for my on the go breakfast. I love that it has 7g of protein but still gives me that sweet affect with the peanut butter and chocolate. Surprisingly these fill me up in the morning and I am good to go until lunch!

Monthly Planner: I have tried countless ways to keep track of my content calendar for the blog. Printing out monthly calendars, using my personal weekly calendar, and I could never find a way that worked for me. I found this super thin calendar at Target that is perfect for my monthly content planning! I personally do not like a monthly view for my personal calendar but if you do this is a great steal!

Trader Joes Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups: These are soooo addictive. And its dark chocolate so that means it’s better for me right? They are so good because they are packed with peanut butter. Perfect little snack to curb a sweet tooth.

Beauty Bio GLOPro: Okay this skincare tool has changed my whole routine. It is AMAZING. Now some people have a concern that it is going to hurt since it is small needles against your skin. It really does not hurt at all I promise, and I am a baby. The GLOPro has small micro needles that create micro channels in your skin to help the reproduction of collagen as well as allow your skincare to sink deeper into your skin and not sit on the surface. You should max use this 2 times a week. I usually like to do my treatment Sunday and either Wednesday or Thursday.

Supergoop Setting Mist SPF 50: Such a great product! I usually will have makeup on when I am in the sun and always struggled with what products to use on my face so my makeup wouldn’t just slide right off. I love Supergoop for all my sun care needs. This setting mist is amazing and smells great. Has a nice spray nozzle that does not apply the product too harsh, and is very easy to use with touch ups. It is always very important to have SPF on your face when in the sun!

Levi’s Ankle Straight Leg Jeans: Finally got my first pair of Levi’s in the anniversary sale! I loved how they had the flared straight leg as I do not have any jeans like this. It is a little out of my comfort zone but I love them! And with the quality of Levi’s I am sure to have them for years to come.

Abercrombie Linen Top: I love this top for Summer! It is currently on sale for $24 and comes in 9 colors! I have the beige and white striped version and plan to pick up the all white next. It is a perfect staple in your closet for years to come. You can leave it un tied for work and then tie it up on the weekends for a cute summer look!
