If there is anything I hate more than anything it’s being uncomfortable sitting in one place for hours. I’ll admit, I am usually that extra girl who goes above and beyond in the name of fashion for any occasion. When it comes to work outfits, finding a median for fashion and comfort is key.
Pants | Cami | Jacket | Heels | Lipstick | Earrings
Now that isn’t to say you should not be dressed up or looking professional at work. I’m here to help you find the best of both worlds! Old Navy is the mecca of all comfortable work pants. These new sleek pants with the racing stripe is one of my recent favorite finds. They appear tailored butttt secrets out, they have an elastic waistband (THE BEST!). My all time favorite pants are the drawstring black and olive pants from Old Navy that you can dress down with a v neck or dress up with a blouse. It is all about what you pair the pants on top to take you from grocery store chic to boss lady. I have thrown a suede jacket over this look but if you need to elevate you can pair with a black blazer for a monochromatic look, or add a winter white blazer for more contrast.
It is up to you the extra details you throw into an outfit. Here I have styled my pants with heels, but on a normal day I would probably opt in for my favorite flats or kitten heels. I don’t think I have ever gone into work without lipstick. For me this rounds out my look and brings color to my face. This isn’t for everyone but mascara and filling in your eyebrows can do wonders as a blank canvas to shape your features. I feel naked if I don’t put my eyebrows or eyelashes on, truly it throws off my day.
In my eyes your outfit and presentation in a meeting or interview speaks volumes. It commands the attention of your peers and builds your confidence to take on anything! So why not look fab and comfortable all at the same time?!
