Now for the good stuff….

Best of Eye Products

Tartlette in Bloom eye shadow palette: I am a neutral eye kind of girl and this is the perfect pallete for travel and on the go looks! Everything that I need is in one pallete, which cuts down on the extra packing when traveling. It’s great for beginners to as the colors cover crease, lid and darker colors to allow a range of looks.

Anatasia Brow Wiz eyebrow pencil: I used to never fill my eyebrows in but gave it a chance one day with this product and my outlook changed forever. I honestly feel naked if I leave the house without filling my eyebrows in. By no means do I have thin eyebrows, but I feel like this really pulls a look together and adds more dimension to my face. It’s all about practice on how you prefer your brows to look so they still look natural and not like an “Instagram brow”.

Sephora liquid eye liner: I am super picky about my liquid liners. I had an all time favorite from benefit that they sadly discontinued but found this Sephora brand eyeliner when it happened. Since high school I have always liked doing a slight wing liner, it rounds out my eyeshadow looks and TBH makes me feel like a cat lolol. I only like using liquid liners with a brush applicator through. I feel like I have so much more control and prefer them over pen and felt tip applicators. If you struggle with liquid liner application try this one out!

Benefit 24-HR Brow Gel: This brow gel is a step I sometimes use when my eyebrows are unruly. This really helps keep stray hairs in place and gives a clean look. You can even use this if you aren’t filling your brows in! I remember sometimes in college I would use my clear mascara as brow gel and honestly it really works.

Best of Face Products

Too Faced Mr Right Powder Brush: Honestly one of my favorite Youtubers Casey Holmes made me purchase this. It truly is nothing spectacular but I love the size of it, its perfect for quickly applying my translucent powder. The quality is great to and does not feel itchy on my face when applying, win win!

Beauty Blender: If I was only given one beauty tool for the rest of my life I would definitely chose a beauty blender. I never understood the hype behind it but when I transitioned from powder to liquid foundation I understood why. I was always to afraid to switch to liquid foundation because I could never find a brush that didn’t leave my foundation streaky or cakey feeling. The beauty blender eliminates all of that and allows a flawless application and easy application nonetheless! You can also use it to apply all your cream products, and to dab over your face after applying setting spray. It really can do it all!

Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer: Recently I haven’t been using my primer as much as I used to, but its very important to either use a primer, moisturizer, or both under foundation. This creates a even canvas, and hydrated skin for the whole day. I prefer the oil free version to combat oils all day, but there are so many other problem solving options for every skin type! I also love that this product does not have any artificial fragrance which can easily irritate my skin.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation: THE BEST FOUNDATION. The makeup artist used this on me for my friends wedding last spring and I have been using it ever since. It gives full coverage without feeling heavy and making your skin appear caked on. They do carry a double wear nude foundation with lighter coverage that I am interested to try out! All of my breakouts are easily covered with this foundation which is one of my main concerns. Paired with my beauty blender it is a dynamic duo.

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder:  Everyone knows the cult favorite translucent setting powder! It leaves no flash back on your face in flash photography and sets your foundation all day where it does not crease or move. I honestly have never even tried out another powder since this one is so good. I picked up the special holiday edition at Sephora last time I was in, it is a few dollars more but comes in this beautiful rose gold packaging and you get a powder puff which is great for applying the powder and for quick touch ups.

Charolette Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder: I am super extra but I use this powder to set my under eyes only. We can thank Jaclyn Hill for introducing this product to me. I will sometimes set my whole face with this powder as it gives the most beautiful flawless finish, but I prefer a more matte look for all over my face. It is a pricer product but if you use it sparingly it lasts forever.

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer: Being so pale I could never find a bronzer that didn’t muddy up my skin. They were either too dark or too orange for me. A Sephora employee introduced me to the lighter milk chocolate Too Faced bronzer and it has been my go to ever since. PLUS it smells like chocolate, how fun!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector- Champagne Pop: If you haven’t heard about this highlight idk where you have been. Several years ago Jaclyn Hill collabed with Becca to create this beautiful gold highlight that is really flattering on all skin tones. I use this on the high points of my cheeks and sometimes if I am feeling spicy in the corner of my eye, brow bone, and a little on my nose. Really any place you want the light to catch. Walking disco ball.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: And to finish your look off it is always important to set your face in place. This setting spray really locks down all your powders and keeps your look fresh all day. Not only can you use this to set your look, but even refresh it but spraying on later in the day and bouncing a beauty blender over it to add some hydration to the skin. This holiday duo pack is such a great deal and perfect gift for any makeup fanatic. I know its on my list this year because you can never have enough on hand.

Best of Lip Products

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb- Fenty Glow: I haven’t really been a huge lip gloss fan over the past few years due to never being able to find a formula that wasn’t sticky and the issue of my hair always flying into it. This formula is so comfortable, and the color is so universal (hence the name) to be able to pair with so many lipstick shades, or throw it on for a little shimmer by itself. If you didn’t know me in high school, you might not know that I was obsessed with lip products. I would sit and catalog my collection and had tubs of it. Obviously lip smackers being the majority. Fun fact this Fenty gloss reminds me of the lip smacker starburst flavor! I also was so obsessed that my AIM name was lipglossluva. I mean it was a whole new level of obsession.

Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon- Pastille: Finally we have this gorgeous lipstick formula that truly does not feel like you have anything on your lips. I love this Bite lip crayon because it hydrates your lips and doesn’t leave them cracked while wearing and comes in so many shades! My favorite is Pastille as I lean towards berry colors almost all year round. I love wearing this shade to work because its comfortable and when it starts wearing off it doesn’t look obvious, it just looks like a more subtle color, no fuss!

Wish List

The two things on my list that I will be picking up (I am trying to be good, are both actually from Clinique! I recently have tried some Clinique skincare that has done wonders for my skin. Their new Blackhead Solution Self Heating Blackhead Extractor really caught my eye. I know black heads aren’t glamorous, but I feel that a lot of the solutions out there for black heads are really pore cleaning masks or nose strips. This new product seemed really innovative and interesting so why not give it a try?! The other product is the Clinique Dramatically Different Lipstick in a Different Grape. I have been wearing this shade since college with my roommate, this was always in our purses on a night out. Tragically they discontinued the original form of lipstick (cant remember the name) but looks like it has been reborn in a new formula! Hopefully it is as amazing as the old formula. The color is so effortless, comfortable, and perfect for fall and winter!

Run don’t walk for this limited time offer! I know 20% doesn’t feel like a groundbreaking deal, but when the deals are limited to a few times a year you cant beat it! And I mean come on, who can really resist a Sephora trip;)
