It’s the time of year where you want to stay in cuddled up with a good book, and a good scent to set the vibes! I have burnt through all of my holiday candles and now am going back to some of my all time favorites, as well as a few new winter scents I cannot get enough of! Scents are so personal and hard to describe so I will do my best to convey how great these candles smell!
Auburn Candle Company Cardigan: I found this awesome company on Tok Tok of all places! I have tried two scents of theirs, Cardigan & Tobacco Musk, and they are both to die for! I love being able to find small businesses like this to support, shows how social media can be beneficial sometimes! The Cardigan scent was made after Taylor Swifts song Cardigan, so you know thats why I wanted it lol. The notes are cashmere, lavender and vanilla so it is so cozy and relaxing to indulge in. Tobacco Musk is musky, woodsy with hints of vanilla. This scent was inspired by Harry Styles signature scent which means nothing to me, but anything with vanilla and musky scents are my go to! Check out this small business they have so many other scents and you can customize your own!
Capri Blue Volcano: Now I think we all know this scent by now, and if you don’t then I do not know where you have been. I fell in love with this iconic scent when I worked at Anthropologie back in college. This is one of Anthro most well known scents and you immediately know when someone is burning it in their home. The fragrance is described as tropical fruits, sugared oranges, lemons and limes, redolent with lightly exotic mountain greens. You really need to smell this to understand how great it is because I usually don’t love tropical scents and this one is not overly tropical which you might think from the description. There are a lot of dupes for this candle out there now at Homegoods, Walmart and Target. I don’t know the exact names for the candles but know the wax is a red orange color at Walmart and Target!
KKW Vanilla Cream: This is a new candle to my collection! I immediately wanted to try it when I saw Kim post about this on her Instagram. As I mentioned, I am a sucker for anything vanilla. Vanilla has been one of my favorite scents for years and years. The description of the notes that follow vanilla are sugar berry, sparkling citrus, cinnamon, clove and cognac. Truly a cozy warm candle all in one! I also love how sleek the candle vessel is making it fit with any home decor!
Voluspa Goji Tarocco Orange: This candle was another find I had while working at Anthro. I mean lets be honest, the red vessel is what drew me to it, plus is it smelt good LOL. The notes of this candle are cold-pressed tarocco blood orange blended with sun-dried goji berries. I will say this is much more fruity than I typically go for but it smells amazing and fills up the room with it’s scent.
Bath & Body Works Stress Relief: Surprisingly a new candle for me even thought its been around forever! I picked it up during the candle sale and have loved it! It gives me spa vibes at home without the spa (obviously). It really does relax me and puts me in a better headspace! The scent is made up of Eucalyptus and Spearmint, instant mood booster!
