Today marks two years of my passion project. Two years ago I decided to jump back into blogging. I had no idea what to expect. No clue what it would bring. One thing is for sure, I am so glad I took the leap. I have explained before that I used to blog in college with my dear friend. Before that I loved to take photos with friends. And if we want to go wayyy far back, I loved dressing up as a kid. All of these memories have made me who I am today creatively. I needed that feeling again and so From Red to Toe came to be.

In these two years I have learned lots of lessons. Success doesn’t come easy and in a business where bloggers are everywhere it is even harder. I have had my moments when I feel so defeated when I post a photo I love, and took so much thought into producing, and it fails. But then I have a conversation with someone who found something they love after hearing my recommendation or congratulating me on how far I have come. Those moments make me keep going. Not only have I learned so much but I have also found so many amazing connections and friendships through blogging. From re connecting with my childhood best friend Lauryn of Lauryn Lately, or creating a life long friendship with my photographer Megan. These kind of connections I will cherish forever.

And as I celebrate the second anniversary of From Red to Toe I still have so many goals to hit! I cannot wait for what the future has in store as I create so many more memories.
