Christmas Table Setting

December 19, 2019

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! A time of year to spend with friends and loved ones listening to Christmas music, watching cheesy movies, and seeing all the Christmas lights! It is a time of year to show your loved ones how much you care for them and one way to do that is sitting around the table giving thanks for all your blessings! I had so much fun creating this table setting fit for any family or friends gathering.

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year with the pops of red that bring so much joy to me. Some do not love the classic red and green, and if you are one of those people you can easily substitute the classic shades for naturals and gold tones. For me however, I love classic Christmas decor and went that route when shopping for the table setting! First thing that is imperative in creating a beautiful table setting is finding your centerpiece first. Once I nailed down this adorable table runner and festive garland it is very easy to style the accompanying pieces.

I found almost all of these items at Hobby Lobby which helps the pocket book since their decor is 50% off!! Once I had the centerpiece items, I filled the rest of the table with candles and gold Christmas decor that I had already in my home. These accent pieces are an easy way to save money if you have these already in your possession. I knew I wanted to play off the red colors so I found these red chargers to add a pop of color to the place settings and finished it off with adorable plates with Christmas quotes. The final element was the pine cone name plate which is such a sweet touch and easy to implement! These pine cones I had from some vase filler but if you have access to pine cones you could find these easily in your back yard.

Of course to top the whole atmosphere off I would be burning one of my favorite scents, Tis the Season from Bath and Body Works. Seriously Christmas in a candle. Don’t make decorating for the holidays hard on yourself! Determine your color scheme and center piece and the other elements simply fall into place. What is your favorite way to celebrate the holidays?!
