I never thought I would see the day that I finally jumped on the biker short trend. It all started back in quarantine when there was nothing better to do than peruse the internet and Instagram. And while browsing the inter webs, I bad the rash decision to try the biker short trend and I must say I am glad I did! One pro is comfortable. Who knew you could be trendy and comfy at the same time?! Some how I went from owning one pair to 4 pairs LOL. Not only do I use these for fashion, but I do have two pairs I can also workout in as well as wear around town! Now if you are afraid to try this trend there are sooo many adorable options that won’t hurt the pocketbook to purchase and give it a go. I will say I had to get used to seeing myself in this style. Its like getting used to skinny yoga pants after flare yoga pants in the 2000’s. So lets go over some of my favorite ways to style biker shorts!
Style #1- Oversized Tee
My favorite and go to look is hands down the oversized graphic tee. I liked this because it kept me very covered and didn’t make me feel like I was exposing myself so much and allowed my backside to be covered. Again comfortability is awesome here and can be worn around the house or out for errands! The amount of graphic tees I own is disgusting so I have many to choose from in my closet LOL
Style #2- Knotted Tee & Denim Jacket
This second option I like a lot for a casual day activity like brunch with the girls or hanging out watching the Bachelorette. While this outfit is obviously still a dressed down option, the knotted tee adds a fun element and the layered jacket also adds some flair making the outfit feel more complete compared to a simple oversized tee.
Style #3- Cropped Tee
Finally we have the cropped tee! This is more of an athletic take on the trend. You could take this straight to the gym with your sports bra or simply wear this out and about or on the couch. Like I mentioned, I started wearing this as I eased into the trend as I preferred to have my backside covered so I usually wear this around the house rather in out!
What is your favorite way to wear the trend and are their any other ways you love to style them?! This has been such a fun way for me to experiment with a new style and trend and I will keep you updated on any new looks I find!

October 22, 2020Love!!! I’ve been wanting to try this trend for a while but was a little nervous. I bought the Nasty Gal pair that you linked above because they were on sale and I wanted to test it out…. and I love!! I can’t stop buying and wearing them now. Just picked up another pair of ribbed biker shorts from H&M that I’m obsessed with.
