Summer is here! Which calls for shorter lengths and lightweight fabric (especially if you live in Texas). I am sharing some of my personal favorites, or shorts I have my eyes on for this summer season!

I usually stick to wearing 3 different styles the majority of the summer. Jean, Linen and chino shorts. My go to is of course denim for my casual looks. My personal favorite brands to wear are Levi’s and American Eagle. Levis’ provides a classic look with a high waisted silhouette which I love. The American Eagle shorts are so comfortable with a little stretch to them. My favorite style in their jean shorts is the midi. I find it to be an appropriate length for my age.

Linen shorts are my choice of short if I am going to be out in the warm weather, or running errands and want to be comfortable but not to dressed down in running shorts. Old Navy has my all time favorite linen shorts but I do also love Anthropologie’s Cloth and Stone brand.

And finally chino shorts. I do not wear these that much but when I want to dress an outfit up I will throw on a black or a white pair. Now we all know J Crew made these iconic but I like to pick mine up at Old Navy!
